Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Longwave uses, where it goes, and the choices you have.
SNG Tech Solutions, LLC (“SNG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Longwave: Internet Radio application for iOS, Android, and macOS (the “App”). This Privacy Policy applies to information handled through the App. It does not replace the privacy terms of third-party services you choose to use with the App.
1. Information the App handles
Information stored on your device
Longwave stores information needed for your experience locally on your device, including favorite and pinned stations, recently played stations, volume and visualizer preferences, cached album artwork, cached genre images and their attribution information, and migration status. This information is not sent to SNG.
If you connect Last.fm, your Last.fm username and session credential are stored using your device’s secure credential storage, such as Apple Keychain or Android Keystore-backed storage. SNG does not receive these credentials.
Information transmitted when you use features

The providers above may receive technical information automatically included in internet requests, such as your IP address, device or browser characteristics, request time, and the requested resource. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies.
2. Information SNG does not collect through the App
The current version of Longwave does not include SNG-operated user accounts, advertising SDKs, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, location access, contacts access, camera access, or microphone access. SNG does not use information from the App to advertise to you or sell personal information.
3. Why information is used
Information is handled only as needed to provide App features you request, remember your on-device choices, secure optional service credentials, retrieve station and artwork information, stream audio, maintain playback, troubleshoot service failures, and comply with applicable law.
4. Third-party services
Longwave can communicate directly from your device with third parties. Review their terms and privacy information before using their services:

- MetaBrainz Privacy Policy for MusicBrainz and Cover Art Archive

Radio streams are operated by independent station owners and hosting providers. Their practices vary, and SNG does not control them.
5. Retention and deletion
On-device information remains until you remove it using the App’s controls, disconnect an optional service, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Cached content may be replaced automatically as you use the App. Disconnecting Last.fm removes its stored session information from the App; it does not delete your Last.fm account or listening history held by Last.fm.
SNG does not maintain a server-side Longwave user profile to delete. To request help or ask whether SNG holds information you supplied in a support conversation, email us at the address below. To delete information held by a third party, use that provider’s account controls or contact the provider directly.
6. Security
Longwave uses platform-provided secure storage for your optional Last.fm session credential. The built-in Unsplash production access key identifies the App to Unsplash and is not a user credential. Network connections use HTTPS where the destination supports it; some independent radio stations still provide streams over unencrypted HTTP. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
7. Children’s privacy
Longwave is a general-audience radio player and is not directed to children under 13. SNG does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to SNG, please contact us so we can address it.
8. International use
The App connects to services and radio stations that may operate in countries other than your own. Information transmitted to those parties may therefore be processed in other jurisdictions under their respective policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Longwave’s features, service providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or its store listing when appropriate.
